As The Wall Street Journal reported, this was a striking departure from her long-standing decision to avoid flaunting jewelry after the trauma. Her decision to shine again? A deliberate message: “I’m not afraid anymore.”

Kim’s outfit also made headlines, naturally. According to The New York Post, she wore a vintage John Galliano blazer dress and sky-high Saint Laurent heels.
